J & M Murdoch & Son was established in 1965 with a Ford Thames Trader flat bed lorry costing only 100 pound. In 1977 YGA IIIS was bought new from the Kelvin Hall Motor Show, Glasgow. This truck spent most of its life hauling whisky for Wm Grants Paisley all over the UK for over ten years, with another five years on local low loader work before being retired to the role of yard shunter in 1992.
She was fully refurbished back to new condition and unveiled at Truckfest Scotland in 1998. Since then it has won various prizes throughout the UK and Europe as well as completing several thousand miles on 'European road runs' for Charity. Shop here
